How do you get your blog to post to Facebook automatically? There are two ways to get your posts to show up on Facebook automatically whenever you post an update. You can either import your posts as notes or use a WordPress plugin to publish to your wall.
How do you import your blog posts as notes in Facebook? To do this, you need to go to the notes section of your account. There is a link on the left side of your home page that will take you there. On the right hand side of the notes section you will find a box labeled ‘Notes Settings.’ Look for the ‘Import a Blog’ link under that heading and click on it. You will then be taken to a form where you can enter the URL. You don’t need to know the URL of your feed; just type the main website URL and click ‘Start Importing.’ Once you have set this up, your updates will automatically appear as Facebook notes every time you post to your blog.
What if you want your blog posts to automatically appear on your wall instead? If you have a WordPress blog, you can use a plug-in to post your content to your Facebook wall. Wordbook is one plug-in that will allow you do do this. Once you have installed the plug-in, your posts will appear on your wall automatically every time you post. Your friends will be able to see your most recent posts by clicking the ‘boxes’ tab on your profile.
